Harrison Bernstein CSCS, CSN
Harrison is founder and executive director of Soldiers to Sidelines. The mission of this organization is to develop military leaders to become excellent coaches and integrate them into youth sports so they may inspire, motivate and encourage young athletes to succeed in sports and life. His education started in Dover, Delaware at Holy Cross School and finished graduating Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore as a 3 time All American Football Player. After college, he worked for the Parisi Speed School and attained certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, The International Society of Sports Nutrition, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and USA Track and Field. This expertise led to a position as Assistant Strength Coach for the Washington Redskins and teaching in the George Washington University master’s program of exercise science. While at GWU Harrison launched Satori Sports to bring the best coaching and knowledge in sports performance to the Washington DC metro area. Satori worked with Georgetown University, The Washington Redskins, Johns Hopkins University, Catholic University, Gonzaga High School, and Good Counsel High School to name just a few. In 2004, Harrison coached for the Sussex County Life Saving Association producing the fastest lifegaurds in the country 7 years in a row including a silver medal in the 4x100 at the 2004 World Lifesaving Championships in Italy. This world-class experience and education has empowered hundreds of athletes to achieve superior heights.

Derek Shockro MCAA
Derek currently serves as Director and Head Coach for the Sussex Central High School Boys and Girls Track & Field teams - 2019 Boys Track & Field Henlopen Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and 2019 Boys Track & Field DE Coach of the Year , Assistant Coach for the Seashore Striders Youth Cross Country Team, and Staff Coach for Nike - Green Mountain Running Camp. He grew up in North Wilmington, DE graduating from Mount Pleasant High School. He received his Bachelors degree from University of DE and Masters degree in Coaching & Athletic Administration from University of Concordia-Irvine. Derek is a Level 1 certified coach with USA Track & Field and the Road Runners Club of America. Derek holds membership with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, USA Track and Field, Road Runners Club of America, National Interscholastic Athletic Directors Association and U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Derek has won 11 U.S.L.A. 4x100 National Championships during a 16 year competitive lifesaving career. He was coached by Harrison Bernstein to a silver medal in the 4x100 at the 2004 World Lifesaving Championships in Italy. Derek also won silver in the 4x100 at the 1990 WLS Championships in Germany. Derek has coached 64 Cross Country All-Americans, including 1 National Champion, from the Seashore Striders Youth Cross Country Program from 2012-2018.

Austen Cave - High Point U.
The Delmar H.S. cross country runner and former Go Fast camper received DIAA All-State Honors following his breakout junior year running campaign. He is considered one of the best high school cross country athletes to have come from Sussex County, DE. Austen has claimed championships at the 2018 Charlie Bell Hornet Invitational, 2017 & 2018 Tidewater High School Fall Classic, the 2018 Salesianum Invitational where he ran the fastest recorded time on the Brandywine Creek State Park XC Course,16:40.03, by a high school senior. Austen's 5K Cross Country PR is 15:29.79 set October 19, 2018 at the Joe O'Neill XC Invitational. Austen will be pursuing his collegiate academic and athletic goals at High Point University in North Carolina.
Quinn Serfass - Temple U.
Earned eight varsity letters in his time at Loyalsock and ran in the state championship meet all four years of high school, qualifying in the 1600, 3200, and 4x800 his senior year • Won the district track and field meet in the 3200 his senior year, and won the cross country district meet his junior year • A district runner up his sophomore and senior years.
Freshman season ran XC 8k PR 26:02 and Indoor 3K PR 8:46.33.
